Thousands turned out for the start of the Boise Pride rally on the steps of the Idaho State Capitol on Saturday June 16th. Keynote speakers included Cherie Buckner-Webb, and Nicole LeFavour. The rally included a reading of President Barack Obama's 2012 declaration of LGBT Pride Month, and culminated with a chant demanding an amendment to the Idaho Human Rights law, and more transparent and accountable government.
Thousands then marched through the streets of Downtown Boise to Ann Morrison Park for the Boise Pride Festival.
