Local Hoosiers... This year only 10 kids turned out to play for the Emmett Huskies 6th grade AAU team. Those same 10 boys took 1st place this weekend over many larger schools! With 2.7 sec on the clock, Cole Elliott hit a 3 point shot to tie this game against Rocky Mtn Black. In this video, with 2.7 sec on the clock, Spencer Keene (Son of Kenny Keene) made an incredible in bound pass to Cole who hit another 3 pointer at the buzzer to win the game! The Huskies went on to win the Championship Game in a hard fought battle with Rocky Mountain Purple. This is the second year in a row that these two teams have faced each other in the championship. Both times the games were extremely close, both times Emmett has won, and the players on both teams have developed a great respect for one another.
