This is a quick and easy monkey bread recipe that kids can definitely help with..great for the holiday break when you have bored kids.
Ingredients: 4 cans of refrigerated biscuits, liquid/spray butter or margarine, sugar and cinnamon, 2 bowls for dipping and a bundt cake pan (or similar pan)
Directions: set oven to temp. on biscuit package.
spray a bundt cake pan or similar pan with non-stick cooking spray.
-Mix sugar and cinnamon into one of the bowls
-pour butter/margarine into other bowl
-Let the kids roll the biscuits into balls.
-Dip balls into liquid/spray butter (or melted butter if you want). Make sure to roll in butter until covered.
-Roll balls in the sugar/cinnamon mix.
-Drop into pan, make sure to cover pan evenly with balls.
-place in oven, as the biscuits are now on top of each other, the time on biscuit package is a guideline, just keep an eye on the bread until its cooked to your desired "browness"
-When done, invert pan onto large plate or platter and let cool until easy enough to pull apart without burning hands.
-Let kids enjoy pulling apart and snacking.
This is a great and easy recipe to make, not many ingredients and super easy to make...plus its a lot of fun!!!
