Because we could not go to Georgia for the game, we decided to do a "Pilgrimage to Prosser!" There were 14 of us from the Treasure Valley who made the trip. We arrived on Friday 9/2/11 where we ate the Tuscany Italian Bistro, met the Principal and Counselor of Prosser High School, along with watching the high school football game! Both were employed at the school when Kellen and Kirby Moore were there, but wouldn't tell us any secrets!!
On Saturday, we toured some local wineries, ate at Keno's Kafe, drank beer before the game at the Horse Heaven Hills Brewery, and then went to the Princess Theatre for the football game, all of which are in the downtown area of Prosser. Many Prosser fans also came to the theatre to watch BSU beat Georgia!!
We would love to thank Dave Keller & Gary Zegar of the Horse Hills Brewery, Princess Theatre and Rick James; and Jim Milne from the Chamber of Commerce for all the fun!!! We chipped in and bought these four men the BSU/Georgia game day t-shirts! Have lots more photos, but we only could submit 3! Thanks Channel 7 for that news piece you did on Prosser a couple years ago, which gave us the idea!!
