Maddie began singing the National Anthem at a Sun Valley Suns Game and preceded to sing both O Canada and the Anthem at a future game and then when a friend was retiring his Idaho Steelhead Jersey at Qwest Arena, he reccommended Maddie to sing the Anthem for this special evening. She sang the Anthem in front of a crowd of 5,000.
