Monday, May 2nd, I witnessed a HUGE swarm of honey bees approach from a distance and head toward my home in East Nampa. It took close to 30 min. for the entire swarm to attach to a tree branch approx. 15' high. The swarm is 6-8" wide and approx 2' in length. It was an awesome event to watch and I'm sure a once in a life time event. I have done a little research on-line and discovered that sometimes bee keepers are interested in trying to recover these swarms. If the swarm is still there tomorrow I will try to contact someone.
