This evening at about 6:00pm it started to storm where I live, about 2 miles South of New Plymouth. At about 6:10pm we started to hear a very loud roaring sound coming from outside so I grabbed my camera and ran out onto the porch where I took these pictures of one of the most powerful hailstorms I've ever seen!
Although the hail only lasted about 5 minutes, the hailstones which were approximately the size of dimes and pennies were so dense it immediately looked like it had snowed! Crazy weather out there!
