In December, the dancers of the Nampa High Dance Unleashed, opened their talents to provide a mini-dance camp for the kids in the community. They held a 4 hour dance camp, where they provided the kids(girls and boys) with fun dance routines, camp games, and lessons in self expression. The turn-out was astounding! The team was able to teach to 62 students from ages 4-13. Not only did the Nampa Dance Team run such a successful camp, they gave up one of their half time basketball performances to give the kids a chance to show their new found skills during half-time at a Varsity Nampa High Basketball game. The camp was a major success and the girls plan to also hold one in the spring. The team had numerous compliments given by the parents of the campers. Some even contacted the district office about how much fun their campers had and organized the event was. The girls dance season lasts from August to April, and the girls are gearing up for their 1st competition this season in February. Attending "Legally Blonde" would be an amazing opportunity for the girls and a team bonding experience that could set this season off right!
