Don't you think it's about time you drop a hint to the guy giving you the Ontario temperatures that they had better have their thermometer re-calibrated. Today while listening to the "Noon News" you stated that the temperature in Ontario was 20 degrees. I live in Fruitland (right across the river from Ontario) and when I checked my thermometer (just after you reported this temperature) it was reading 32. Now I realize that snow-cover always makes temperatures lower than they would be if there wasn't any snow-cover, but as you can see from these photos that I took, we also have a very deep snow-cover here in Fruitland. These temperatures that the Ontario reporter has been giving you lately are always way below what my theremometer reads at that instant, and it's making it look like the West end of the valley is like living in an "ice-box" compared to the rest of the valley and it just isn't so. As I look out the window right now the snow is beginning to thaw in several places along the street and if it was only 20 degrees, there's no way there would be any thawing going on.
