I don't think that I am alone. No matter what happened last Friday in Reno I have been and still am very proud of our Boise State Bronco football team. The TEAM has brought us hours of superior play and excitement. For me this admiration goes way back...back 35 years when I first came to Boise and was introduced to BSU athletics.
I truly thought that the Broncos would triumph over Nevada but this time Nevada got the breaks and played a little bit better...just a very little bit better. The loss doesn't in a way dim the accomplishments of this years team...that was a beautiful game filled with thrills and spills...I for one am proud of you...
Kellen and the rest of you guys...don't lose heart no matter what any one says...you are the finest college football team that I have ever seen and I seen a lot of them. I feel that all of you and Coach Pete are disappointed and that's natural...leave it behind and "take care of business one week at a time"...
For all those that think we are down for the count...think again and hold on to your hats...The Broncos haven't lost momentum...we're still here and we will see you all at the Utah State game...we will be there...with a vengeance...count on it...
and next year...save the number 1 position for the Broncos...
