My eight year old daughter Sydney had surgery on her legs at St. Luke's on November 11, 2010. When asked by the surgeon to pick a color for her casts, she quickly responded with a smile and said "Orange and blue!" with no prompting from her family. The doctor gave her a little ribbing by questioning her choice, but she should stood steadfast in her decision just minutes before surgery. It was a nice moment of levity before her surgery and a great way for her to show her pride in the Broncos.
