Black smoke was visible from miles around. Following the towering columns of smoke, I located the fire on Bennet Road, just east of Robinson Road. Fire crews arrived just ahead of me. It appeared to be a field that they harvest carrot seeds in and the flames were spreading fast. Kuna Police Dept. showed up just after I arrived and looked to be there to keep passers-by from entering the field and to keep traffic moving on Bennet Road.
