McDONOUGH, Ga. (AP) — Rapper Waka Flocka Flame has turned himself in on drug and gun charges in Georgia.
Henry County Jail records show that the rapper, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, surrendered to authorities on Monday. His bond was listed at more than $31,000.
He faces charges of possessing marijuana and a controlled substance, possessing a firearm by a convicted felon and possessing a firearm during a crime. The rapper also is charged with breaking the state's anti-gang laws and violating probation for driving on a suspended license.
Waka Flocka Flame was on probation for a charge of possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
