The pop superstar has a small part in the new movie, The Butler, playing the mother of Forest Whitaker's character. At a press conference for the film in New York on Monday, Mariah recalled a scene in the movie where she was spat on by a white person. And that's when she told reporters, "That actually happened to me. I know people would be in shock and not really want to believe or accept that, but it did."
