BOISE -- Boise-based company Quest Groups is beefing up their challenge to other business to support those in need in the Gem State.

Quest Groups promised to match donations from business to Cares Day up to $20,000. That goal has already been met.

Now, the company is adding to their donation of $20,000. Quest Groups says they will donate another $10,000 if three other businesses also donate $10,000 each.

Thank you to all the business that have donated this year

"The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation is proud to support Community Cares Day and the outstanding organizations who work so hard to make our community a better place for the hungry, the homeless and the hurting.   We applaud KTVB, the Idaho Community Foundation and every citizen who will donate today for helping make our towns and cities better places for everyone.  We feel blessed to be a part of such an incredible community."

We invite you to join us in our Season of Hope - a season long celebration of events and charitable giving bringing the community together through the miracle of sharing. In these tough economic times Idaho's hungry, hurting and homeless are having greater difficulty making ends meet. Your donations provide hope - the most precious gift of all.

The fifth annual Cares Day will take place December 8, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

KTVB will broadcast live and accept donations at the Idaho Center in Nampa, KTVB Studio in Boise, and Fred Meyer stores in Twin Falls and Eagle.

All donations will be split among the Idaho Foodbank, Salvation Army of Ada County, Nampa, Caldwell, and Twin Falls, Jubilee House, Boise Rescue Mission, Lighthouse Rescue Mission, and City Light Home for Women and Children.

We will be accepting non-perishable food items and cash donations to help Idaho families in need.

If you cannot make it to the event but would like to help, you can make a secure $10 donation by texting 7CARES to 50555 from your mobile phone, click here to choose an amount to give online, tap on Cares Day in any of KTVB apps, or go to our Facebook page.
