Today is Groundhog Day and while the official word from Pennsylvania was that Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, but his cousin Boise Bill did see his shadow. That means the eastern part of the country will have an early spring while the Treasure Valley will have another six weeks of winter. You can visit the prairie dog exhibit at Zoo Boise, but we don’t expect to see Boise Bill again for about 6 weeks.
