Today is the 68th anniversary of D-Day marking a turning point in World War II. A remembrance of the day will be held this Saturday June 9th at the Military History Museum. The gates will open at 10am with the museum open to everyone from 10am to 4pm. Two re-enactment battles will be held at 11:30am and 2:30pm. This is a free event but donations to the museum will be accepted. The re-enactments will feature military tactics and blank weapons firing demonstrations.
