If you are looking for a way to get an understanding and feel for the Christmas season you can attend a “Live Nativity” scene at the Meridian Seventh Day Adventist Church. This is a free event and is only three days starting Friday and going Saturday and Sunday. The hours are from 5:30pm to 8:30pm with tours of about 25 starting every few minutes. You are asked to bring a non-perishable food item with you as a donation to the Meridian Food Bank. The church is located off the intersection of Black Cat road and Cherry Lane in Meridian.
