The Meridian Fire Department will be holding its annual Salmon Barbeque on Friday August 3rd at the Dairy Barn area by the speedway. This is a fundraiser for the department for the burn out fund that helps families when they suffer a fire. The barbeque starts at 6pm with seniors being served starting at 5pm. The cost for the tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for children age 6-12, 5 and under are free with seniors $10. If you get your tickets in advance it will cost you $12 for adults. Advance ticket sales are at available at the Meridian Fire administration, City Hall, the Meridian Chamber of Commerce and the new Senior Center.
