Hands of Hope is a Nampa based organization that takes unused medical supplies and outdated medical equipment and package it for donation to countries in need of those supplies. The equipment and supplies comes from local hospitals and businesses and because of volunteers costs remain low. Today the volunteers were rewarded with a breakfast. To date there have been 27 countries around the world to receive shipments. In addition crisis care kits are sent from here to lend immediate help to victims of disaster here in America. The kits help with basic supplies for those who have been evacuated to shelters on a temporary basis.
