Dental care is an important of overall health. Children from low income families often don’t have access to simple care and to help combat the problem Delta Dental is teaming with volunteers from the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and getting a packet into the hands of those children. Elementary schools with a high number of low income children will receive packets of a toothbrush, a timer and an information sheet about dental care. More than 20,000 children will benefit from this program thanks to help of the RSVP volunteers.
