The “Scales of Justice Bass Tournament” helps Juvenile offenders find a better path in life. A decade ago Judge John Vehlow promised a young chronic offender he would take him fishing if he would just follow his probation and not have any problems. The young man did and it sparked an idea of bass fishermen being mentors. The tournament is on September 23rd at C.J. Strike Reservoir and more fishermen and boats are needed. You can call 287-5741 to volunteer, sign up and get more information.
