Shore Lodge Stout Smoked Cheddar Fondue

INGREDIENTS

12 oz. stout beer

1 cup white wine

1 lb. smoked cheddar cheese, grated

2 oz. (by weight) corn starch

2 oz. water

DIRECTIONS -- (1) Bring the beer and wine to boil in a saucepan.

(2) Gradually add the grated cheese until it's all incorporated and melted.

(3) Combine cold water and corn starch and mix well, then add it to the fondue while stirring with a whisk.

(4) Pour the mixture into a fondue pot.

(5) Serve with bread, apples and dried fruit.
