Nut Butter Pancakes
1/4 cup nut butter (almond, cashew, walnut, etc.)
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until the consistency is creamy. Pour a three inch pancake into a heated skillet that is lightly oiled (butter, coconut oil, coconut oil spray). These pancakes cook slower than regular pancakes so make sure the burner is on medium heat and not high. They can be hard to turn if you make them too big. Let each side cook for about a minute. Enjoy!
Delicious Nutritious Smoothie
1 frozen banana sliced
1 cup frozen mixed berries
2 tablespoons almond butter
2 cups almond milk
1/2 a tablespoon powdered green drink
Place fruit and almond butter in a blender. Add enough almond milk to almost cover the fruit and blend. Add more liquid if needed.
