Post Falls Soldier Shot at Fort Hood

There is an Idaho connection to the shootings at Fort Hood, Texas. George Stratton III, 18 years old -  was not only there on the base when the shooting happened, he was shot in the shoulder by the gunman. He was raised in Post Falls, Idaho.

He is doing well, and is now recovering at a Texas hospital. Here's a picture of him:

This morning on "Today's Morning News" - Edgar Linares tracked down his Dad, and we had the chance to do a phone interview with him.

George Stratton Junior (Dad) recounted how he found out about the shooting, and how his son is doing today.  He was very composed and had a lot of good information for us, so we wanted to share it with you.
