While over 17,000 of us were racing for a cure here in Boise, many Idaho men and women serving over in Iraq were taking time out of their busy day to do the same!
Jesse Watkins is with the 116th in Baghdad, and posted these photos on his Facebook page. This group of soldiers organized their own Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this weekend.
They ran in honor of people who are fighting breast cancer, and those they loved who have died from it. Even though they are in Iraq, they all wanted to feel close to the cause here at home.
