If you think you have what it takes to make a difference in a kid's life - The Mentoring Network wants YOU! All it takes is an hour a week - and the desire to want to be a friend to a child who needs you.
We went to Central Elementary in Nampa to see mentoring in action. There we met Rosa Roark, 10 - and her mentor, Jennifer Deroin. They have been a match for three years now! They work on a lot of special projects together to build Rosa's self esteem and confidence.
Donna Shines is the Executive Director of The Mentoring Network - she says she needs more mentors to step up! So many kids just like Rosa are waiting for good mentors in our community. If you think you can spare an hour a week to give to a child, this is for you!
