It's finally here!
The Idaho Statehouse will open this weekend. The rededication ceremony is this Saturday at noon, and it's open to the public. You are all invited to come be a part of Idaho history. This is the first time the public has been invited to see the inside of the beautiful Capitol building since the restoration and expansion work began back in April of 2007.
It took $122.5 million dollars and over two years to complete. The ceremony will take place tomorrow at noon on the Capitol's southern steps. If you can't make it to the ceremony, no worries! We'll carry the entire hour LIVE here on Channel 7 from 12pm to 1pm.
