Who knew our very own Idaho mascot "Spuddy Buddy" would be in such high demand at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics? Let me tell you, he is! The Idaho Potato Commission must be very proud of the little guy...
Carolyn Holly and Mark Johnson took a few stuffed "Spuddies" to Canada for the games, and it turns out that was a very smart decision.
They gave one to Speedy Peterson for good luck last week, and just this morning on Today's Morning News, Carolyn told us how she used the power of the "Spuddy" to do a little Olympic pin trading in Vancouver.
(By the way, pin trading is the most popular Olympic sport, that isn't a sport!)
Spuddy Buddy may not be a pin, but he came in pretty handy - Carolyn didn't get the pin she really wanted, but she did get a few!
