Prom is one of the best experiences in high school. We want to tell you about a very special prom being held right here in the Treasure Valley called SHINE! It's coming up later this month.

It's for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, ages 14 right through adults.
This is a great chance to experience the joy of a prom, and the theme this year is Hollywood Stars - Everyone Shine! There will be music, dancing, refreshments, pictures, and all the other things that make a prom so fun, and so memorable.

Dates are welcome, and chaperones will be there too. There are dresses and mens wear available, free or at a reduced price for participants.

Shine! is coming up Saturday, April 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Center at the Park at Julius Kleiner Park in Meridian.

The cost is just $5 dollars at the door, but you have to RSVP.

Please email Joy Cameron at Joy@camfam5.com or call 890-3133.
