Today is my last day on the anchor desk for several weeks, because I'm due to have my baby any day now! The baby is actually due next week, but this is a good time to sign off - while I can still function. Right? My biggest fear was that I would go into labor on set with my crew in a panic... but the good news is I made it through the last week or so without all that drama. :)
Let me tell you, it's been a wild ride being pregnant on the news for the last 9 months. I survived morning sickness (we kept a trash can by my chair on set for months! LOL), sleepless nights, and growing out of my clothes. I did it all on morning TV for everyone to see! What an adventure...

I like all the suggestions, but I'll have to stick with the baby boy names - because we're expecting a boy!
Come Monday, it's bittersweet to say I won't be here to bring you the morning news. I've been doing this everyday for 10 years - so it's going to be so strange to be at home as a brand new Mom. I know I'll love every minute of parenthood, but I'll miss all of you too. Thank you so much to all of you who have sent me gifts and cards. I can't tell you how special it is to share this experience with all of our loyal viewers!
The good news is - after some time off bonding with my new baby boy, I'll be back on the KTVB news desk once again.
I'll certainly keep you posted when the baby arrives - and we'll post pictures of the little guy and reveal his name and stats online!
