We just got word from The Oprah Winfrey Show this morning that one of the 10 missionaries held in Haiti on child kidnapping accusations - will make an appearance on her show Friday. It's not one of the Idahoans though, it's actually Jim Allen - of Amarillo Texas. He was one of the eight people released yesterday by the Haitian judge.

Jim Allen to appear on OPRAH

Jim Allen was one of the 8 missionaries released yesterday by a Haitian judge. He is the cousin of Twin Falls pastor Paul Thompson - who was also held in Haiti with his son Silas and released yesterday. Allen volunteered to go to Haiti to help Thompson on the mission after the earthquake hit.  Here is the promo that Oprah is running for the show:

It will certainly be interesting to see what Jim Allen has to say on OPRAH tomorrow. At this point, no word on if any of the Idahoans will appear with him. We do know some of the family members have been contacted by her producers. Tune in tomorrow to see what happens on the show, it could shed a lot of light on what happened in Haiti and what happened in those jail cells for close to three weeks.
