We're excited to announce that we have a new morning reporter on TODAY'S MORNING NEWS. Natalie Podgorski has moved to the day shift here at KTVB, and you may have noticed a new face on your TV screen in the morning! Jacqueline Quynh is now joining us weekday mornings from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Jacqueline is excited to be here in Boise. Here's a little bit more about her background for you - she earned her degree in journalism at Cal State University in Los Angeles. She interned for a TV station in Bakersfield, and worked at local newspapers and business journals based in California. She has also worked as an assignment editor and producer at KFWB News Radio in Los Angeles. She decided she was ready to take on reporting out in the field, and now she's a member of Idaho's number one news team!
Jacqueline has lived in Paris, France - and loves the French language. She studied abroad there. She also speaks Vietnamese. If you see her out and about, make her feel at home here in Idaho. We're happy to welcome her.
One of the coolest things about Jacqueline? She's a certified EMT. That's comforting for me. I'm 9 months pregnant, so she can deliver the baby if I go into labor suddenly on the news set! Of course, I'm kidding about that. Let's hope and pray that doesn't happen. :)
Welcome to KTVB Jacqueline!
