This week is MS Awareness Week. Did you know that every hour someone is newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis? One in 300 Idahoans have it. That means you most likely know someone with MS right here in our community!

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system. It interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the rest of the body.

You may see people sporting orange ribbons (like this one) this week to raise awareness and show support.

Raising money to find a cure is a year round goal, but there is a push this week to get more people in our community involved. You can help in so many ways! How would you like to EAT, WALK, or BIKE for a cure?

EATING:
Boise restaurants are getting involved this year, and taking part in Community Give Back Events.

Go enjoy a meal and give to the cause:
Payette Brewing Company - March 16th - 111 West 33rd Street
Flatbread Community Oven Pizza - March 17th - 615 W. Main Street

WALKING:
There is a special WALK MS BOISE coming up on April 21 at Julia Davis Park. You can sign up by clicking HERE - the event is free to participate in, but fundraising is encouraged.

BIKING:
BIKE MS IDAHO is in McCall on August 18th and 19th. Get involved by clicking HERE!
