The Nutcracker is a holiday tradition - and you have your chance to see it next weekend at the Morrison Center in Boise.
Ballet Idaho is gearing up for an incredible show starring some locals! Young dancers from all over the Treasure Valley are rehearsing for the show. This year's cast even includes a real life brother and sister duo performing as Fritz and Clara!
You'll see everything from the famous holiday party scene, to the Christmas garland dance, a magical mechanical mouse, Clara's life size nutcracker doll, and the growing Christmas tree! I'm told this production features beautiful sets and costumes, and incredible choreography.
If you want to go, here are the dates and times:
Friday, December 11th: 8pm
Saturday, December 12th: 2pm and 8pm
Sunday, December 13th: 2pm
The full Boise Philharmonic orchestra will perform the score. The Opera Idaho Children's Chorus will also be featured.
