Hearts for Haiti

This week's Seven's Heroes are all the students and staff members at Maranatha Christian School in Boise. They are selling valentines, called "Hearts for Haiti" for a dollar each - and all the proceeds will go to a Haitian orphanage. Sales are already taking off...

One of the kids who goes to school there was adopted from Haiti, when he was just 5 months old. His name is Carson Myers, and it's really interesting and heartwarming to see the impact that the earthquake, and the school's relief efforts have had on him.  His mom says helping the people there has really helped him deal with his emotions. That's the case for all the kids!

Take a look:

I am always looking for people who are making a difference in our community!

If you have a "Seven's Hero" nomination for me, shoot me an email and let me know about it:
