How would you like to celebrate an Olympic GOLD medal, and a birthday - with Kristin Armstrong this weekend?
On Saturday, you can! The city of Boise is hosting a victory ride for her at 3 p.m. - and it starts at the Boise Depot. If you want to ride with her, please get there at 2:30 p.m to secure a spot.
The city says access to the Depot will be by bicycle only, there will be no parking at the Depot for this event. If you don't want to make the trek uphill to the Depot, you can join the caravan below.
The ride will end at Capitol Park, which is right across the street from the Idaho Statehouse. There will be a rally, and a birthday party for Kristin there! She just happens to be turning 39 this Saturday. The city is promising enough cake for a thousand people. So, you may want to get there early.
This is the best part... Kristin will also be available to autograph the famous picture of her with her son Lucas on the podium at the London Games!
If you don't want to ride your bike, you can line up in support of Kristin along the route down Capitol Boulevard, and attend the rally at the park. Everyone is welcome.
Happy Birthday Kristin!
