This week's Seven's Hero is pretty SWEET.

Literally.

"OLD BETTY"

It's about a local family that bought an old ice cream truck, fixed it up, and now uses it to spread cheer in underprivileged neighborhoods. Owner Natalie Elliot named the truck "Old Betty". She's now taken on a life of her own!

Natalie and her kids drive "Old Betty" around town, and pass out free ice cream to kids that are in need. That's not all. She takes donations, and money from paying customers and tips - and buys school clothes and school supplies to hand out to families who are struggling to make ends meet. How special is that?

Watch the story here:

"Old Betty" is a non-profit, but she needs donations to work her magic! If you want more information on how you can help Natalie Elliott's cause - click here, and we'll take you to her website.

What a wonderful way to give back to our community!
