Have you heard of Dress for Success?
The organization helps low income women prepare for, and dress for job interviews. The goal? To help them land jobs, and then work on career development. Dress for Success is there to help these ladies every step of the way.
The women come in to the "shop" and they are fitted with an interview suit, shoes, and help with makeup and hair. They also get interview tips. It's very empowering for these women to feel ready to go out and get that job! They just need the tools to do it.
Right now, the Dress for Success shop is in need of gently used professional looking shoes. The Executive Director, Debi Foster, tells me they need black, brown, or navy heels and flats of all sizes. Check your closets, and you can simply drop of your tax deductible donation at the shop during business hours!
