Times are tough, and there are families in need all over the Treasure Valley right now. Today, I got an e-mail from a friend on Facebook about the HUGE need at the Meridian Food Bank, so I thought I would spread the word to all of you.

What would Thanksgiving dinner be without a turkey? Right now, the Meridian Food Bank really needs turkeys for Thanksgiving meal boxes. The Idaho Foodbank is generous enough to give the Meridian Food Bank 200 turkeys this year, but they need a lot more. Last year 1000 turkeys were given to needy families, so they are seriously short.

If you can afford to donate a turkey this year, this would be a great place to do it. You can drop off a turkey at the Meridian Food Bank on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m.
