It's prom season! One of the best parts of prom for a teenage girl, is picking out that special prom dress. The problem is, prom dresses are so expensive. Some girls spend up to $300 dollars or more on a new dress! In this economy, that's not possible for so many families. Prom is often out of reach for many girls, because they just can't afford the dress.

The good news is there is a special place right here in the Treasure Valley called DRESSTRAVAGANZA, that offers beautiful gently used prom dresses FREE of charge. It is really an amazing program, and it's making prom possible for so many teen girls here in our area.

Meet some of the people behind it, in this week's Seven's Hero:

This Saturday, April 21st - there's a special shopping event at Dresstravaganza.

It's from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here is the information you need to know before you go:

For more information on the program, how to borrow a dress, donate a dress, or to make an appointment, call 208-870-2840.
