Last week it was pizza.. this week it's HOT DOGS. Our morning crew likes to spice up Fridays around here, just to kick the weekend off right! We took some behind the scenes snapshots of the hot dog gluttony. Nothing like a hot dog at 5am? WHAT? Here is Doug with our director Cale...

Hot dogs were enjoyed by all! With all the condiments too. These people come prepared.

This is a snap shot of the crew. The people who make "Today's Morning News" happen. Without them, there would be no show!

So, what a day in the good news department! It's so refreshing to have GOOD news to share with all of you. There wasn't a lot of doom and gloom today - which is something to celebrate in my book. :)

We start out with the "Miracle on the Hudson" - that's what the amazing story of survival in New York is being called today on news channels around the country. 150 US Airways passengers (and 5 crew members) survived a frightening crash landing into the Hudson River! They are calling the pilot a hero today... the scary part is - BIRDS caused this plane to go down!

We talked to the Boise Airport tower about how they prevent something like that happening here... they are always on the lookout for birds with binoculars, and they have radar to detect flocks etc.

Who knew this could be such a problem? We all know now... yikes.

And the Mountain Home Air Force Base welcomed 300 people home yesterday from Afghanistan! Such a happy homecoming! We captured it on video.

You can watch it on our homepage. We love bringing you the feel good stories, because they seem to be few and far between these days...

Have a wonderful weekend!

PS... tired of the fog/inversion?? Try our SUNCAM online! It's at the top of the homepage... it will brighten up your cubicle at work, for sure. It works for my little cube!
