Have you heard that expression? "Ughhhhh... I have a case of the Mondays!"

Question: why are Mondays so dreaded? It's funny how the first day of the week has such a bad name... a stigma almost. After much thought this morning, I have decided Monday is what you make of it. You can putz around and be cranky, or you can take on the day and get things done! (Preferably with a smile, your co-workers/family/friends/pets will appreciate it) Is this positive self talk? Quite possibly. :)

One school closure to report - the Bruneau/Grandview School District is closed due to blowing snow and nasty conditions in the area. It's COLD today! Brrrrrrrrr. 19 degrees at last check -so bundle up no matter where you go.

Do you believe the Special Olympics World Winter Games are just 12 days away! Opening ceremonies are on February 7th. It's almost here...

There is still time to be involved and raise money! You can sell blue "Be a Fan of Joy" bracelets (courtesy of McCain Foods) for $2 each at your school, church, or neighborhood. Check out this flyer!

Eagle High School Soccer sold 500 bracelets in one week! That's $1,000 dollars for the games! You can call to request a FREE kit of 250 bracelets today - McCain Foods Bracelet Program: 1-888-606-9778. You can also click on our hotlinks for more information. It's a wonderful way to get involved and "Be a Fan"!

Just think, if every school in the Treasure Valley did this, we could raise a lot of moolah for the games... wouldn't that be amazing! Spread the word!
