A big thanks to all of you who have already donated to this weekend's fundraiser for a dear baseball mom.
We've gotten your silent auction baskets, your money and your love for Debi Jorgensen.
For those of you who didn't read my blog earlier in the week, here are the details.
Debi has leukemia, and her friends are coming together this weekend to ease some of the financial problems that come along when you are facing what's estimated to be a two-year battle against this disease.
On Saturday, April 16th, we hope you'll join us at Stubs on Federal Way.
A $25 donation will get you a burger with the works, chips and two drinks. Stubs is donating all the stuff, so that means ALL PROCEEDS will go to the Jorgensen family.
We hope you'll bring your kids, because they are the ones who have benefited from the many volunteer hours Debi has given to baseball and softball programs in Southeast Boise. She would love to see them and you.
We're getting going with this at 5 p.m. We'll serve the burgers until 9 p.m.
If you have questions, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hope to see you there.
