Don't let the title of this blog confuse you, but I do hope it caught your attention.
This Saturday McCall is doing the neighborly thing, chopping wood to make sure its residents stay warm this winter.
The work (I'm told it's really fun) starts at 8am. You're asked to get there early.
Bring some gloves, no one under 12 is allowed (sorry) and make sure you've got your muscles warmed up!
Last year over 300 people cut 96 cords of wood in six hours! All of that wood went to residents who needed it last winter to warm their homes during McCall's cold winters.
Again, here are the details:
Saturday July 9th, 2011.
Meet near the Smoke jumpers loft at the McCall airport.
Everything starts at 8am, so try to arrive a half hour early.
