It's a new year, which means for me a new start at staying up with writing my blog.
My idea, which is really a no brainer: Letting you know a nugget of information that I got today while interviewing guests one of my favorite shows.
So, here's my new attempt at sharing something new: WHAT I LEARNED ON THE NEWS AT NOON!
1) Carbs are not the enemy!
We all got caught up in the no-carb diet stuff and in doing so we forgot that we need the vitamins, minerals and fibers in carbs. Those things are necessary for our heart, brain and skin. So, the word from dietitian Heidi Diller of Albertsons is to down those GOOD carbs like whole grains, veggies and fruits. Here's the key she shared off camera: Eat the good carbs in the mornings, lots of them and then taper off your carb intake as the day wears on!
Just a little nugget of information that might help you through your day.
