Attention aspiring singers and patriots from Idaho!

Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston is looking for singers to perform the national anthem at this year’s National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics World Series.

The school will conduct try outs on April 26th, 2012 from 4:30-6pm in front of the main grandstand at Harris Field on the college's Lewiston campus.

Here’s what you need to know for the audition:

You should know the words to the national anthem. Singers will perform without music, unless accompanied by musicians. Contestants also must be comfortable and able to sing in front of as many as 5,000 people at the world series game.

The winners will perform during the 56th annual Avista NAIA World Series held May 25 through June 1.

For more information -- or if someone is interested but can’t make the allotted time -- contact Logan Fowler at 208-792-2289.
