We love having people come visit us in the newsroom. But, not all of our visitors are people!

Today we had two unusual guests: Maru (the fish) and Peanut (the guinea pig).

These adorable additions to our newsroom have us all ooh-ing.. and ah-ing!

Peanut is just on a temporary stay, while his owner goes on vacation. He's actually living under Doug Petcash's desk until he comes home from vacation.

Maru isn't going anywhere. That fish has a permanent home to swim in inside the KTVB newsroom.

And we can't leave out our Pet of the Week!  Each Friday on our Midday News at Noon, we feature a pet who is looking for a home.  Today, Charlie turned heads as he walked through our newsroom on the way to his noon news debut.  If you are interested in adopting Charlie, call the Idaho Humane Society at 208-342-3508.

Check out our slideshow so you can see how silly we can get when non-human visitors come into our newsroom!
