I met the most fascinating ladies on TV this week, and both appeared on KTVB's News at Noon!

First off is an Idahoan who has lived one of those 'I am blessed' business success stories. Cygnia Rapp is the founder of a company that makes an organic butter replacement called MELT.

Dr. Oz featured this product on his show and declared it was the best butter substitute available. Since that TV segment, MELT has taken off. It’s available at many local grocery stores.

So, what’s the key to her business success?

Cygnia says she did what few do…she branched out and took a chance!

An avid cook and home chef, Cygnia developed MELT after digestive disorders caused her to give up many of her favorite foods, including butter. She still wanted to have good tasting food, so she started digging, and discovered healthy saturated fats like virgin coconut and flaxseed oils. Based on those two key ingredients she developed the recipe for MELT.

I don’t think we’ve heard the end of where her business could be going.

The next TV guest who knocked me off my feet is Sally Baker.

Sally is with the Boise Exchange Club which is providing a free 12:15 pm showing of the documentary “Bully” on Saturday, April 21st at the Flicks in downtown Boise.

Parents, teachers, and coaches are invited to see this film, and help stop bullying among our kids.

What struck me about Sally was how she delivered the message.

She’s pure class!

Sally believes in the quest to help our kids grow up in a safe environment. What's more, when she talked about her message, she talked right to the viewer.

Sally has incredible timing in the way she speaks and carries herself so well while telling her story. I was simply mesmerized by her!

Here’s the kicker: Sally is also from Hollywood! She was married to the head of RKO pictures. That means she has been around the cream of the crop when it comes to performers. I saw that polish in her immediately and admired it.

I have to say, these ladies really inspired me. Two Idahoans with very fascinating lives.
