Thank you, thank you....I mean really thank you to Chef Lou for bringing his Westside Drive In to the east side of Boise.
His new place is open on Parkcenter Boulevard near Apple Street.
People are packing into the place.
My best friend and workout partner was one of the first to go through the doors. She gave it a great review with an exclamation mark that she no longer has to go all the way over to State Street when she has a Westside Drive In craving.
I love her game plan for how she's going to enjoy Chef Lou's food.
She's figured out that she lives 1.9 miles from it. So she will run down there once a week, have one of those juicy burgers and some tater tots, and then walk the distance home to walk off the meal. I love it!
Kudos to you Chef Lou for bringing your awesome prime rib and yummy milk shakes to our end of town.
But more importantly, thanks Lou for being such a great community member and a member of our Weekend Morning staff here at KTVB!
